TeenTidal — Privacy Policy

What TeenTidal collects

Nothing. TeenTidal does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to any server we operate. We have no backend, no database, no analytics.

Data stored on your device

TeenTidal stores the following locally on your device only, using iOS's built-in storage:

• Favourite tracks, albums, and artists
• Playlists you create
• Download queue entries

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app permanently removes all of it.

Authentication

TeenTidal uses Tidal's official SDK for login. Your Tidal account credentials are handled entirely by Tidal's authentication framework — TeenTidal does not access, store, or transmit your username or password.

Tidal SDK telemetry

TeenTidal uses Tidal's Player SDK and EventSender for music playback. These components may collect playback telemetry as part of Tidal's standard SDK behaviour. This data is governed by Tidal's Privacy Policy, not ours — we have no access to it and no control over it.

Third-party services

• Tidal API — used to search, browse, and stream music. No other third-party services, APIs, SDKs, or libraries are used.
• No analytics. No Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel, no anything.
• No social features. No sharing, no social login, no contact list access.

Network activity

TeenTidal communicates exclusively with Tidal's API servers to authenticate, search for content, and stream music. It makes no other network requests.

Permissions

TeenTidal requests no special device permissions — no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo library access.

Content filtering

TeenTidal filters explicit content using metadata provided by Tidal's API. The accuracy of this filtering depends on record labels correctly tagging their content. TeenTidal applies this filter at both the catalogue and playback layers, but cannot guarantee completeness of upstream metadata.

Data deletion

Delete the app. All local data is removed. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no residual data on any server.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new effective date.
